Terms and conditions


As of 17 December 2023, These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of JKAD SERVICE mobile mechanic business (“Service”). By booking or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Services Provided: JKAD SERVICE provides on-site vehicle repair, maintenance, and diagnostics at the location requested by the customer. Services may include, but are not limited to: Oil change, brake repairs, battery replacement, engine diagnostics and general vehicle maintenance.

Bookings and Appointments:
● All services appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone or website.
● Appointment times are estimates, delays may occur due to traffic, emergencies, or prior jobs.
● Customers must provide accurate vehicle information and location details.

● £60 is payable at point of booking. A link will be sent via Monzo with your registration and explanation. This will confirm your booking. Full details of customer will need to be completed for application to be successful.

● Booking fee includes the call out fee.

 

Pricing and Payment
● Once the job is complete, payment can be made into a Monzo Business Account via a link sent.
● Included in this payment link - It will specify works carried out as a reference for both parties.
● Service changes are based on time, parts, and labour, Estimates will be provided when possible.
● Payments are due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
● Accepted payment methods: Card payments accepted via bank transfer link / Cash.
● Prices are subject to change based on parts availability and service complexity.
● If the job requires more than 1 hour to diagnoses any issue, then an additional fee will be applied at an hourly rate unless it’s a priced job.  Refer to pricing breakdown section on website.

Customer Responsibilities
● Ensure that the vehicle is accessible and safe for the mechanic to work on.
● Provide any necessary information regarding vehicle history, issues, or modifications.
● Remove personal belongings from the vehicle to prevent damage or loss. Warranty and Liability
● Labour is typically guaranteed for 30 days on repairs completed by the mechanic.
● Parts carry manufacturer warranties, which the customer must claim directly if applicable.
● JKAD SERVICE is not responsible for pre-existing vehicle defects, hidden damage, or any issues caused by external/internal factors. (e.g. road conditions, acts of god i.e. Severe weather etc).
● Liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided.

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling
● Customers must notify us at least 24hrs in advance to reschedule in order not to forfeit the booking fee.
● If the customer would like to change their appointment no further booking fee applies.
● If the customer cancels, booking fee is non-refundable,
● If Mechanic cancels, booking fee refundable or customer able to reschedule their appointment without losing the booking fee. If work is carried out by myself after diagnosis is completed, a discount will apply to the diagnosis fee.

Health and Safety
● The mechanic reserves the right to refuse service if the location is unsafe or poses a health risk.
● Customers must ensure the working area is free from hazards. Use of personal information
● Customer information is collected only for service purposes. Ie. Name, contact number, vehicle registration and post code of vehicle.
● We do not sell personal data to third parties.

JKAD SERVICE reserves the right to update these terms at any time. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure they have read the terms and conditions when booking.
